Bunny X It was such a pleasure to work with Zak on So Into You and, while I may be a bit biased on that track, I love this entire album from start to finish. There is truly something for everyone on this record from the classic synthwave sounds to even a little italo disco for good measure. Amazing work! Favorite track: Cepheus.

'Black Star’ is the new Synthwave album from ‘Zak Vortex’. It is available on Cassette, CD & Minidisc. CDs & MDs also include 'Vortex Mix Tape Vol. 2'.

It is also available as a Double Deluxe Cassette version and includes 'Vortex Mixtape Vol. 2' on the 2nd cassette. The double cassette version of ‘Black Star’ will be on ‘vintage silver’ colour cassette and the ‘Vortex Mixtape Vol. 2’ will be on Vintage Gold’ and they look stunning in the butterfly cassette case.

People that came onboard the ‘Zak Vortex Train’ when ‘City Nights’ came out late 2019 will love this album as it is a nod back to that album and that period of Synthwave / Dreamwave music. Think night drives and beachside sunsets.

All digital sales will also include ‘Vortex Mix Tape Vol. 2’ which will accompany the album launch. This live DJ mixtape includes alternative mixes and exclusive tracks from ‘Black Star’.
